| My last diving holiday in the Sinai was at Whale Bay in 1980. We were unable to visit Ras Mohamed as the area had returned to Egypt control. We did though make one dive on the Egyptian-Israeli-Sinai border. I have recorded in my log book having see large gorgonians, table corals, a black spotted puffer fish, a large moray eel, a crocodile fish, shoals of barracuda and the occasional shark. The number of fishes I saw are too endless to describe in full. |
